Prayer request - Moving from Oregon to Michigan - need jobs & a rental home this summer
Our family recently visited your church over the holidays and really enjoyed the people, the pastor, the sermons and the environment. We heard about the prayer wall from Pastor Lee. We would like to ask that you pray for our desire to move to Michigan this summer to be near family (that attends your church). We currently live in Portland Oregon at this time. We feel that Michigan is where God wants us to be and it is where we feel we need to be. We will need jobs and a home to rent (min 1 yr - 3BR/2BA) until we decide exactly where we want to settle. We are hoping that if a member of your church knows of any job openings or of any rental homes coming available in June or July that you could contact us and let us know. I am currently a social worker for child welfare. I was a youth pastor for many years prior to that and my hope and desire is to be able to do that again instead of the social work. My wife works in an accounting office doing administrative work. She also has experience in payroll, A/P & A/R. We appreciate any prayers you can offer. God Bless, Clarence Cannon
